Ball in the House: An A Cappella Christmas
The holidays are fast approaching! We hope that you, your friends, and your loved ones experience safe and relatively stress-free travels as you move to spend time together and experience some holiday cheer. And if your idea of holiday cheer involves live music, we have some good news for you! If you're in the northeast US and looking to get festive, Ball in the House has several joyous, holiday-cheer-filled shows coming right up.
For those living or traveling near eastern MA, we have our upcoming Saturday 12/8 evening show at the Cambridge Ringe and Latin School! One of the oldest educational institutions in the United States, CRLS has added some new traditions to join with the old; joining us this Saturday will be 6 different student a cappella groups! While this won't be a full-blown holiday performance from Ball in the House, we will certainly be sinking our teeth into the holiday spirit during our set with some holiday classics! From there we'll be heading to Milford, PA, to the Church of the Good Shepherd. Milford is a delightful, beautiful town right on the Pennsylvania/New Jersey border in northeast, PA. If you'd like to join us for our first full holiday show, we highly recomend you check out the sights and shops beforehand. Our show will be on Sunday 12/9 at 3pm, and the address for the church is 110 W Catharine St, Milford, PA 18337. Tickets are available at the door and through the church office.
Next up is the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Cobleskill, NY! Join us Thursday, 12/13 near the NY capital region for a 7pm holiday delight! While the building itself is fairly recent, the parish itself has been around for nearly 150 years. You can find more information about the church at their website here. Tickets will be available at the door, starting half an hour before the concert! The address for the church is 138 Washington Ave, Cobleskill, NY 12043.
That weekend, we will be capping off our 2018 perfomance year at the Garrison Players Art Center in Rollinsford, NH. Joining us will be the wonderful and talented Mixtape, an a cappella group based right out of nearby Dover, NH! We will each perform a set of music, and will be performing a joint number as well.
